Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

Fresno Valves & Castings, Inc. (“Fresno Valves,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website at www.fresnovalves.com, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have — including under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

1. Who we are

Fresno Valves & Castings, Inc. is the controller responsible for your personal information collected through this website.

  • Address: 7736 E. Springfield Ave., P.O. Box 40, Selma, CA 93662, USA
  • Phone: (800) 333-1658
  • Email: info@fresnovalves.com

2. Scope

This policy applies to personal information we collect through this website. It does not apply to information collected offline, or to third-party websites or services that we link to, which have their own privacy policies.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide to us. If you contact us by email or telephone using the details on our site, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, company, and the contents of your message.

Job applications. Our Careers page embeds an application form hosted by JazzHR (operated by Employ Inc.). Any information you submit through that form — such as your name, contact details, résumé, and work history — is collected and processed by JazzHR on our behalf, subject to JazzHR’s privacy policy.

Information collected automatically. When you allow analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log and usage information, including your approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you interact with the site. We do not collect this analytics information until you consent (see Section 4). We do not use this website to knowingly collect sensitive personal information.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use two categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the website and the cookie-consent tool to function. This includes a cookie (cc_cookie) that remembers your cookie choices. These are always active and cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics (optional) — set by Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*, _gid) to help us measure traffic and improve the site. These are placed only after you opt in.

When you first visit, all non-essential cookies are disabled by default. A banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose by category. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer, and rejecting analytics deletes the associated Google Analytics cookies.

We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal: if your browser sends a GPC opt-out signal, we automatically decline non-essential cookies for you.

5. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your inquiries and provide information about our products;
  • receive and evaluate job applications;
  • measure and improve the performance and content of our website (only with your consent to analytics);
  • maintain the security and integrity of our site; and
  • comply with our legal obligations.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Consent — for analytics cookies and related processing. You may withdraw consent at any time via the “Cookie Preferences” link, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • Legitimate interests — to respond to your inquiries, operate and secure our website, and understand and improve our services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Steps prior to entering a contract / consent — to process job applications.
  • Legal obligation — where we must process information to comply with the law.

7. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers / processors who act on our behalf, including:
    • Google LLC — website analytics (Google Analytics);
    • Employ Inc. (JazzHR) — job-application processing;
    • Amazon Web Services — website hosting and content delivery.
  • Authorities or third parties where required by law, to enforce our rights, or to protect the safety of others.

Enabling analytics may involve the disclosure of online identifiers to Google for cross-context measurement; under the CCPA/CPRA this can be considered “sharing.” You can opt out at any time (see Sections 4 and 10).

8. International data transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Email inquiries are retained for as long as needed to handle your request and our business records. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration. Job-application data is retained in accordance with our recruiting practices and applicable law.

10. Your privacy rights

If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information; to data portability; and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to:

  • Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, and how we use and disclose it;
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information;
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for these purposes); and
  • Non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

11. How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@fresnovalves.com or call (800) 333-1658. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

12. “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” and GPC

To opt out of the use of analytics/advertising cookies (which may constitute “sharing” under California law), use the “Cookie Preferences” or “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer of any page, or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser, which we honor automatically.

13. Children’s privacy

Our website is intended for a general, business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

14. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
