Bulkhead and Stop Log gates are ideal for temporarily damming the flow of water in order to drain specific areas so that maintenance can be performed on infrastructure that is normally below the water level.

Fresno Valves & Castings manufactures several standard sizes of hand-pull or stop gates. An extruded metal section embeds in the side walls or is mounted on the face of the rectangular flume or onduit and acts as a guide for the gate slide. The gate consists of an aluminum plate reinforced if necessary with hand holes for manual opening of the gate.

A hand-pull gate is an economical way to divert water in rectangular channels.

Overshot gates (also known as pivoting weir gates) are used to control upstream water levels. Versatility, efficiency, and safety are the primary reasons the Fresno Overshot Gate is the method of choice for municipal, agricultural, and industrial canal water control.

Radial gates (also known as Tainter gates) have a large convex surface which dams the upstream flow of water. The gate is supported by radial arms attached at either side that are mounted to trunnions which allow the gate to pivot up and down. This design allows economical construction and operation of gates which need to control the flow of water in large openings.

The Series 3800 Type R Flap Valves are designed for use on pump discharges to prevent the backflow or intrusion of water into the pipe.

The Series 4000 Line Gate Valves are in-line gate valves used to shut off and regulate distribution lines, at pumps and in field irrigation systems.

The Series 4200 Type W Pressure Gates hold pressure in both flow directions and are used in canals, flood control systems, pipeline distribution, waste water systems, oil refineries, and various industrial water control applications.

The Series 5200 Galvanized Slide Gate provides cost effective flow control in low pressure applications. May be used with concrete or plastic pipe.

The Series 5300 Galvanized Distributing Gates provide cost effective flow control in very low pressure situations.

The Series 5500 Galvanized Toggle Gates are used in similar applications to the Series 5200, but utilize a cam action slide which allows the gate to lock into various positions.

The Series 5900 Drainage (Flap) (Tide) Gates are a corrosion-resistant, rustproof, automatic drainage gate designed for use where light weight, corrosion resistance or tight sealing is foremost.

The Series 6000 Flap Gate Valves allow outflow of water from a pipe or structure to a body of water, but prevents backflow. The Series 6000 is used in systems where seating heads are ten feet or less.

The Series 6200 Heavy Duty Flap Gate is designed to permit the outflow of water from a pipe or a structure to a body of water while preventing backflow of the same. It is frequently used in reservoirs, tidal basins, ponding basins, pump stands and storm drain systems where seating heads are less than 50 feet.

The Series 6400 Sluice Gates are designed for use in controlling flow through round opening with heads up to 20ft. on the front side and up to 10 ft. on the back. Flat Back models are mounted to concrete headwalls, or machined to match standard flanges. Spigot Back models are for mounting to corrugated pipe.

Series 6600 Slide Gates are used where pressure is in the seating direction only. Flat back models for headwall or flange mounting. Spigot back models for mounting to corrugated pipe. The Series 7600 Fabricated Canal Gate is designed for use in water control applications where corrosion resistance is a primary concern.

The Series 8200 Fabricated Slide Gate is an engineered to order slide gate that is fabricated to exact specifications. Available in carbon steel, galvanized carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum; our fabricated slide gates are a cost effective solution to water control.

The wall mount pressure relief valve is a small flap valve that allows pressure to be relieved while preventing backflow.
