A Proud History

Fresno Valves and Castings, Inc.  was founded in 1952 as Showalter's Irrigation Appliance.  At that time, the company produced a quality line of irrigation gates.  1958 marked the acquisition of Martin Iron Works and the addition of an aluminum foundry.  In 1974, due to overwhelming growth, the company built a new modern facility and changed its name to Fresno Valves & Castings, Inc.  Over the past 25 years, Fresno Valves & Castings has expanded to include three major divisions (introduced below) and nine offices throughout the United States servicing markets throughout the world.  Fresno Valves & Castings product line now includes some of the world's leading water control devices.

Divisions of Fresno Valves include Pierce Fittings, manufacturing a complete line of the world's most popular line of irrigation fittings. 

Flow-Guard division manufactures all the stainless steel filtration products, including a variety of media and screen filtration units.

Fresno Valves & Castings also operates a state of the art brass and aluminum Foundry.
